Guests are guided step by step through making gnocchi from scratch, learning how to mix, shape and handle the dough correctly. You will gain confidence in reading the dough by touch, adjusting for moisture and achieving the ideal consistency every time.
Set within a relaxed and welcoming venue, this class balances technique with enjoyment, allowing plenty of time to cook, learn and ask questions.
Once the gnocchi is shaped, guests learn how to cook it correctly and how to avoid common mistakes such as overworking or overcooking. Cooking techniques, timing and handling are covered in detail to ensure consistent results at home.
Sauce pairing principles and flavour balance are explained during the session, with a simple sauce prepared as a demonstration and served as a sample at the end of the class to showcase how gnocchi should be finished and served.
